Peck your way to the top

The other day a friend and brother in Christ went to Facebook to show off his latest business venture; chicken farming, specifically broilers. He has quite a number of broilers and as I watched them, my mind went back to basics. Suddenly I had this crazy question nagging me at the back of my mind wanting to be desperately answered. Question was, how do those tiny chicks manage to break out of an egg? How do they know it’s time? As always, I decided to visit my friend Google to find out whatever information I could and I have to admit I was amazed at what I found out.

Ever wanted to do something so much because deep down your heart you know it is a God-given agenda you are propagating, only to be met with obstacles from every corner of your life, and sometimes from the least unexpected persons? Well, me too.

Rio Olympics 2016 - The unexpected

#RIO2016 or #RioOlympics2016 are the two harshtags that have been trending constantly for the past few weeks since the RIO Olympics kicked off in the first week of August.

This year’s Olympics have come with quite a number of entertaining moments, surprises and shocks. As expected, many tears have been shed by many people, for winning and for losing, for physical pain and for heartache. Whatever the case, I must say this has been an interesting Olympics.

Fighting to showcase your gift

If you read last week’s article then you do know that this month we are focusing on the gifts. Everyone has a gift they were sent to this world with; some have one others have many but regardless of the number of gifts one has, the bottom line is that each one of us was sent to this world with the a gift. The problem is that not many people have taken the time or the effort to find out what their gift is.

Talent
