The Quiet Power of Rising

The last few weeks have been… a lot.

I’ve been on the road and in the sky—between cities, between countries—juggling assignments, battling changing weather conditions that swung between 11°C and 25°C, and trying to keep up with it all. Somewhere in the middle of that motion, I fell sick. Everything slowed down, and because I run my own pages and write my own stories, I had to hit pause, not because I didn’t want to post, but because I simply couldn’t.

What You Do in Silence: The Sacrifices No One Knows About

It’s been a while since I showed up here for #StorySaturday. The last few weeks have been intense. I’ve been on the road and in the sky—moving between cities and countries—and somewhere in the middle of all that movement, I fell sick. The changing weather didn’t help much either, swinging between 11 and 25 degrees depending on where I was. Everything slowed down, and I had to hit pause. You see, I write my own stories and run my own pages, so when I’m not okay, everything stops. Not because I don’t want to show up, but because sometimes, I simply can’t.

Book No. 24: Tuesdays With Morrie, by Mitch Albom

📚 #SaturdayShelfie: Book 24 – Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

I first stumbled upon this gem while reading Who Will Cry When You Die? by Robin Sharma. In one of the chapters, he referenced a man who met with his dying mentor every Tuesday to talk about life.

That one reference stayed with me.
So I did what I often do when a book finds me: I went looking for it.
And just this week, I got my own copy of Tuesdays with Morrie.

Book No. 25: Figuring It Out by Mustapha Seifdine

📚 #SaturdayShelfie: Book 25 – Figuring It Out by Mustapha Seidine

You know that saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover”? Well… this recommendation is a living reminder of just that.

I first met Mustapha Seidine at a conference, and to be honest, I completely misjudged him. On that day, he was the guy behind the camera — quiet, focused, doing his thing. I assumed he was just part of the media crew. What I didn’t know was that behind that lens was a brilliant mind, a deep thinker, and the author of this week’s featured book.
