Book No. 24: Tuesdays With Morrie, by Mitch Albom

📚 #SaturdayShelfie: Book 24 – Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

I first stumbled upon this gem while reading Who Will Cry When You Die? by Robin Sharma. In one of the chapters, he referenced a man who met with his dying mentor every Tuesday to talk about life.

That one reference stayed with me.
So I did what I often do when a book finds me: I went looking for it.
And just this week, I got my own copy of Tuesdays with Morrie.

I haven’t started reading it yet. In fact, I haven’t even peeled off the clear protective wrapper, but something about this book already feels sacred. The premise alone stopped me in my tracks: a dying man, sharing life’s deepest truths in weekly conversations that are raw, honest, and real.

From what I’ve gathered, this isn’t just a story—it’s a mirror. One that reflects not just how we live, but why we live the way we do. It speaks to love, regret, aging, work, family, death... and above all, life.

And that’s why it’s today’s recommendation.

Because even before I open it, I can feel it’s the kind of book that doesn’t just speak to your mind — it nudges your soul.
The kind that gently reminds you to slow down, breathe deeper, and reflect on what truly matters.

It reminds me of The Top Five Regrets of the Dying — the kind of book that calls you to live now, love fully, and let go of what doesn’t serve your life’s deeper purpose.

If you’ve been moving too fast to feel, or too busy to think about what really matters, maybe what you need is a quiet moment with Morrie.

Why read this book?
✔️ Because sometimes, the most powerful life lessons come from those with nothing left to prove.
✔️ Because it’s easy to get lost in the noise of life—and books like this help bring you back.
✔️ Because maybe, just maybe, what you need right now is a quiet Tuesday with Morrie too.

If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear what stayed with you.
If you haven’t, perhaps this is your sign to go find a copy.

Be ignited. Be inspired. Be influenced. Become the best version of yourself you can ever be.
