Why do naturally talented people frequently fail to reach their potential while other far less gifted individuals go on to achieve amazing things? This is a question I have asked myself severally, as I have watched people less talented than I am in certain areas do things I could easily have done in my sleep (Of course I'm exaggerating).
No woman in the 20th century demonstrated the restoring and healing power of the Holy Spirit to more people than Kathryn Kuhlman. She lived what she believed, and what she believed she proclaimed with boldness. "No man or woman need ever be defeated! You are only defeated when you consent to defeat."
We only have one more day to go before we store 2018 away together will all the other years that have passed before this one. If I may be bold enough to ask you, on a scale of 0 – 10, how would you rate your 2018, 0 being the worst and 10 being the best? Secondly, on a scale of 0 – 10 how would you rate your goal achievement this year? Thirdly, if you were told to change something about this year, what would you change?
When I started the #52BooksIn52Weeks2018 Book Reading Challenge, I thought I had an idea of the kind of books I would read for the year. If you have been following my trend, you will realize that I started mostly with personal development books because that is what I really needed; to develop myself to become a better person in every aspect of my life.

This last week saw Africa lay down to rest a great statesman, the late Kofi Annan. As I watched the proceedings of the funeral live online, I was saddened by the realization that people of his caliber are fast diminishing from this continent, mostly due to age and age-related ailments.
I was also saddened by something else.
